Albanese gets pulled into line after pressure grows over genocide in Gaza.

After witnessing the massive protests around Australia, particularly Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Albanese calls for a two-state solution and tries to stave off mounting opposition to the governments’s non-action in regards to Gaza and the genocide.

Albanese in calling for a two-state solution and also cancelling the visa of one of Netanyahu’s far right ruling coalition members brought on the wrath of war criminal Bibi Netanyahu. Netanyahu accused Albanese of rewarding terrorism and revoked the visas for Australian diplomatic representatives to the Palestinian Authority. Netanyahu also said Albanese had betrayed Israel and the Australian Jewish community and was a weak leader.

Calling for recognition of a Palestinian state (two-state solution) is something that has been thrown around for the last 77 years. It is not new and certainly no help to the starving Gaza population. It is seen as a mild response by most protesting Australians who are calling for Israel to be sanctioned.

But lo and behold, Albo does a complete turn around after getting the the elbow from Netanyahu and has come out with the ridiculous statement that Australia’s spy agency, ASIO, had information that Iran was behind two attacks on a Melbourne synagogue and on a Jewish cafe in Sydney.

Albanese then expels the Iranian ambassador and three officials, who were given 7 days to get out, the first time since world War II that Australia has expelled a foreign diplomat. But it doesn’t stop there, Australia now will designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organisation.

This smacks of the same silly accusations made about explosives in a caravan in Sydney.

The pressure mounts on Albanese, as Australians, and in particular the Australian working class, get on the front foot with the genocide in Gaza, demanding stronger action.

Supporting Israel and offering only lip service to the Palestinian genocide highlights how both parliamentary parties Labor and Liberal do not listen to the Australian people and only serve the ruling class.

The need for a truly independent, sovereign Australia that is in control of its own destiny and not dictated to by outside foreign powers could not be greater.
