Winston Churchill is constantly portrayed as a great wartime leader of Britain in the battle against Nazi Germany. Indeed Churchill, from the early 1930’s recognised the danger to Britsh empire posed by Hitler and his backers in the German ruling class. Churchill also battled against the rampant pro-Nazi supporters in the British ruling class and the British royal family.
Prior to his assumption of Prime Minster, as World War II was breaking, Churchill held important roles in the miltary and government and here we can see his bloody hands in action in South Africa, Iraq, India, Sudan, Kenya, Ireland and in Britain.
