Freedom, democracy and human rights stories are endlessly trumpeted across the media. However, if we examine the targets of these stories, we will see common trends. There is an endless loop of news and commentary attacking some countries. Countries outside the US-UK axis never have the opportunity to present their views in in these axis countries.
In Australia , despite endless self-serving slogans reminding us about our “free press”, the ownership, the commentators and the sources all swing in behind the world view emanating from Washington and London.
In this modern age, tiny beams of light on the internet can illuminate issues that the billionaire press obfuscates.
Why does the USA- UK axis bang on about human rights in China, Iran, Ukraine , Cuba, Venezuela and Zimbabwe to name a few ? Why do they spend billions funding groups and campaigns in these countries in opposition to sovereign governments?
